Do you mean that you'd like to publish files from the ECM repository (the ADM) to the WCM repository (the AVM)?
Is this for the purpose of deploying to a website?
What sort of ECM content do you want to transfer to the AVM? XML files?

Some General Points:
You can define a XML meta-data extractor to take data from within an XML file onto an AVM node.
You can use script to control the transfer of files from the ADM to the AVM repository (see: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/JavaScript_API#Cross_Repository_Copy)
You can then use the FSR (http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/FSR) to publish the contents of the AVM to a file-system on another server (or use the ASR to publish the AVM contents to another AVM on another server. See: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/ASR and http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Deployment#Alfresco_To_Alfresco_Deployment_.28ASR.29).
