    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have installed alfresco 3.1 on Windows.&amp;nbsp; I can reach &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://localhost:8080/alfresco" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://localhost:8080/alfresco&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; and see the alfresco home page.&amp;nbsp; However, when I go to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://localhost:8080/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://localhost:8080/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, a blank page is rendered when I was expecting the Tomcat home page.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Why is the tomcat homepage not appearing?&amp;nbsp; How can I get the tomcat homepage to render?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
