Alfresco WCM on Weblogic 10.3

Dear all,I have installed Alfresco on Weblogic 10.3 and Oracle 10g. I only deployed the war files. The deployement was successfully completed.After that, I wanted to use the WCM. I placed the bootstrap file at the right place but I saw that it is mandatory to use the virtual-tomcat. Is that correct?

Yes you can use WCM without the virtualisation server. Just don't expect the preview to work.

You should also be able to run the virtualisation server on WebLogic.

Just to clarify, preview will work fine, but (for obvious reasons!) you'll have to use one of the preview mechanisms that isn't dependent on the virtualisation server. See http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/WCM_Preview for more details.
