SVN build - virtual server cant connect [SOLVED]

I updated from SVN this morning and after a deadly schema update the next problem seems to be that I can't get my virtual server to connect.I know the basics of setting the IP in alfresco-virtservers.properties and have also tested a working Labs3.0b release (same RMI ports, hostname and IP address)

Its a known issue that we diagnosed last night.
What happened is that we have fixed the tcp ports for alfresco repository to use and unfortunatly clashed with the virtual server.

The work around fix is to change the alfresco.virtserver.jmxrmi.port property to an unused value such as 50510. Whether this remains the final fix remains to be seen.

Hi,
Where did you get the source code for alfresco lab 3.0b. I used SVN to get the Head/root. But i am not sure what version it is and it is not working also after deploymenting in Tomcat. Could you please suggest or give me a lead on where to get the stable source of alfresco.

Elsewhere in the forums there is mention that 3.0b is based on revision 2575 but it would be good to know what tag it was committed with.

I have taken svn build today(10/29/2008) and used build.xml to get alfresco.war using ant. When i deployed the alfresco.war in tomcat 6.0, It throws exception. I have following questions about alfresco build.

1. what version of alfresco we get using svn co …/HEAD.
2. After getting subversion, is there anything we need.

Murugan,

Create a separate thread for your question. Very few people would read this as this thread is marked as SOLVED.

Answering your question; an SVN checkout gives you the latest that alfresco has released to the community.
What you download is considered as the bleeding edge of the code or the latest community code that is released after a successful nightly build.

If you are getting exceptions then mention the exceptions as a separate thread and ask your questions.
