Any specific libraries that the installation binary depend on?

Thanks, i'll resort to the tomcat bundle but still doesn't explain what the installer is doing.

That's very easy to resolve. When you run Alfresco-Enterprise-3.0.0-Linux-x86-Install you must do the following

./Alfresco-Enterprise-3.0.0-Linux-x86-Install –mode console

And then the installation begins without any problem

http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Debian_Installation its ok for older version… but following that guide didnt work for alfresco 3.0

does any one can help with the missing/diferent steps?
