I noticed that Author, Description and Title aren't extracted from doc file when adding it through Share interface. Also, Author is not shown anywhere. Is that expected behaviour?

Does the metadata extraction work correctly for you when you upload the same document to the Explorer (JSF) web client?

Jep, tested it, works wrong in Share.

When one adds ".doc" file through Share, it extracts just Name of the file, then puts Title to the same value as Name. Description (Subject field in .doc properties) is not extracted. Share doesn't mention Author, I don't understand why is that left out.

Adding the same file through JSF clients gives expected result, Name, Title, Description and Author are populated as they should be.

When I copy that file, added via JSF client, into Share Document Library, then metadata (Name, Title, Description) are copied and presented as they should be.

Oh, yes, another small bug, when copying file to some other space (through Rule or clipboard), value for Author is lost (in JSF client).
