I wonder if someone from Alfresco Share development would give us some insides on how they think of Google Sites and Alfresco Share?

Google Sites is Google's wiki application. It allows for teams to create wiki pages and collaborate on.

Alfresco's Share lets you create Project Sites, which you can invite users to and includes Calendaring, Document Management, Blogging, Wiki, Discussions, etc.

There are quite different products.

I do not think Google Sites limits to Wiki. For example, you can create pages for announcement, file manager, and dashboards that you can actual linking to calendar and Google Videos widgets. It does not surprise me that if they start to provide gadgets to blogger or other Social Networking services. I would be very interested in how Alfresco would support developing additional Site 'types' and additional components (someone already pointed me to Surf platform ) and possible integrations to other Social Networking applications?
