Ver 3 WAR only download - what now?

I am really sorry to be asking this, but I have a functioning JBoss/MySQL setup and I wanted to download/customize/deploy the DM 3.x war to my test box so I can check out Alfresco.But - I am totally confused about what to DO with it! As a test, I followed the articles regarding JAS 4.0 and 4.2. I'm on 4.3.0.ga_cp02 (oy!) and Alfresco was the only application to deploy.

Well, it started to deploy - even got as far as creating the tables in the database (interesting, since I hadn't changed any of the config files in the .war file) - but there were errors everywhere.

Eventually, it got to a point where there were missing classes and the deployment had "failed". I had downloaded the Enterprise 3.x version war.

Is the .war missing some .jar files?
