topic Adding CustomServiceTaskContext objects directly in the designer in Alfresco Archive

Currently in the designer, ExtensionUtil can have a list of CustomServiceTaskDescriptor objects provided to it by an extension. This works well, but these objects must point to an additional extension jar to provide the functinality. It would be ideal if ExtensionUtil could also take a list of CustomServiceTaskContext objects so that an extension could directly implement these palette extensions itself rather than having to depend on a separate jar file. I have already written the code to do this and it definitely helps my project.

I would like to create a pull request for this, but I want to make sure that Tijs or Joram agree with this approach before I go to the effort of making the branch and the pull request. Thanks.

Yes, that makes sense to have in the Designer project.
If you create a pull request I'll look into it and merge it to master.

Thanks,
