There are no default roles. Activiti does not mandate or require anything.
In Explorer, there are two roles (admin / regular user)

Thanks Man, really appreciate your timely responses.

We are using Activiti 5.18.1.

Just want to know How flexible it is to be integrated with OPENID ? for both REST and Explorer.
If yes, any pointers on best strategies or from where to start ?

I'd look into Spring security regarding REST. For Explorer it's a bit trickier as that's not using Spring Security … that would need manual hacking I'm afraid.
