I am running at revision 3189. I have also tried the clean targets to no avail and also deleted my old database and it did not work either. So it must be something in the config process for Hibernate that is causing this to occur. Here is the google search I did to find the Hibernate related cases on this type of issue:

rdifrango,
for me, it worked after reverting the hibernate-XXX-patched.jar to the version before the 2th of October. (That is, hibernate-3.2.1-patched.jar).
