Copy and Paste odd behaviour in 3.1

Hi,I am using ENT 3.1 on a windows xp platform and am trying to copy and paste and item (in this case an html page) from one folder in my web project to another folder in the same web project using the explore client.This I have no problem doing. I simply use the copy icon for that particular asset

Anyone?
This is urgent as it would be a large chunk of functionality missing that our client would like from their CMS.

I need to know if this is default behaviour or if it is a bug?
And any workarounds.

In your Web Form definition you are most likely using absolute path for the output path pattern. You'll need to change this to a relative path so it updates the XML and renditions relative to your copied form. Thanks for the quick reply.

I am using output paths like: ${name}.xml
and for renditions I use: ${name}.${extension}

So when a user is creating a content page he/she will browse to the folder they want to create content in, and both the xml and rendtion will be output there.

Has anyone else any ideas?
This to me is a serious flaw in the Alfresco functionality.

Anyone from Alfresco online in this forum?

Perhaps you could shed some light on whether this is default behaviour or not? and if there are any workarounds?

I can raise in JIRA if someone confirms this is a bug.

Thanks mrogers for the reply.

The client we are working with hasn't signed the support contract yet, so that is not yet an option for me.

Obviously if it is a bug that's where support is needed, but I just need to know :
a) is this the expected functionality of ENT 3.1?
b) is so, then how is a user supposed to copy and paste?

I was hoping some of the engineers who frequent this board and know Alfresco inside out may know the expected behavoiur Vs a bug.
