    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You can't catch a RuntimeException and continue with the transaction.&amp;nbsp; It has been marked for rollback and the transaction demarcation won't allow re-entry into a transactional method.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you are going to perform an operation that can fail, you have to ensure that you are able to discard the transaction it takes place in (the entire stack of entered transactions) before continuing.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;That is why I wanted to know where the transaction was being rolled back in case it was something in our code that was absorbing an exception and attempting to continue with the transaction.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Regards&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

This is what you are seeing.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Stick some breakpoints into the following class.&amp;nbsp; The error you are seeing is actually caused by an earlier rollback.&amp;nbsp; This is a bug, so it would be good if you could help to get a trace of where the transaction rollback is happening during the bootstrap.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;org.springframework.transaction.interceptor.TransactionAspectSupport&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You'll have to get the Spring 1.2.6 source.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've no idea what would have been corrupted.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Regards&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I am having some issues with permissions after trying to elevate the Coordinator user to have permission to create users and groups.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Can you shed some light on this?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;thanks.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
