[Resolved]: Schema auto-update failed

Dear All I am doing fresh installation of alfresco 2.9.0B . I am unable to deploy alfresco.war. I am getting Schema auto-update failed error. It creates one table alf_bootstrap_lock in alfresco schema. I deleted this table and restarted the server then also i am getting the same error. I am getting

As I had the backup(db backup & alf_data) of alfresco2.1, I used this backup and deployed alfresco.war (from alfresc2.9.0B).
Now it's working but when I deploy alfresco.war(from alfresco2.1 or alfresco2.9.0B) without backup then I am getting error which you can see in my previous post.

Please correct me if i am wrong. Kindly help me.

Hi Abhishek

Thanks for the response.

Actualy when I started using alfresco 2.1 that time also i faced this problem and that time as I remember I deleted the alf_bootstrap_lock table from the database and restarted the server. After this server was working fine.
Now I am facing this issue for both alfresco2.1 and 2.9.0B during first time deployment with new schema.

Hi All

I have resolved this issue.
You can create any number of schema but if any other schema contains alfresco tables(didn't test for other tables) then it'll not work.

Thas really a good find. I am also not very experienced in Alfresco just started playing with it few days ago..I will definitely find out more about what you mentioned and share my experience.
