HI I want to import users into Alfresco 3B.I created two files erson.xml<view:view xmlns:view="http://www.alfresco.org/view/repository/1.0" xmlns:cm="http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0" xmlns:sys="http://www.alfresco.org/model/system/1.0" xmlns:app="http://w

Hi Amita,
Even though users may have the same username, they have surely been assigned different UUIDs. You can force the uuid inside those xmls by adding a line such as:

<sys:node-uuid>4489977c-25b4-4980-ab2e-6d6307472bfa</sys:node-uuid>‍

The UUIDs assigned by Alfresco are random-generated by using the org.alfresco.util.GUID.generate() method. You could generate your own UUIDs for those users, and import the users adding the -uuidBinding UPDATE_EXISTING argument to the import commands you're executing.

Cheers!
Hernan
