Thanks for your reply.

as per your suggestion I did start virtual_alf.sh only.

although I am getting following:


15:26:37,751 WARN  [web.config.ClientConfigElement] Virtualisation Server not started - reverting to default IP: 127-0-0-1.ip.alfrescodemo.net
15:26:37,752 WARN  [web.config.ClientConfigElement] Virtualisation Server not started - reverting to default port: 8180

What is exact solution for this..? Do I need to change port anywhere? if yes.. kindly can you show me steps..as I am not much aware in linux commands..

hi all
   i am not able to start the virtual tomcat and it has been told to edit property in virtual_alf.sh file but i am not having that.i am having 3.2r version. when i click on virtual_start.bat it just blink and goes off.what is the problem ? i am not getting the exceptions also.

my alfresco is as
       c:/Alfresco/tomcat/
       c:/Alfresco/virtual_tomcat/
do anybody knows how to start the server?
