In the webscript "my completed tasks", I can see an action "abandon workflow", but I don't understand what the impact is on the whole process.
Does it totally cancel the process ?

As far as I can tell the "Cancel Workflow" button will remove the actual workflow object. This means that no matter what task the WF is on, it will stop and be removed from any users "Tasks To Do" or "Completed Tasks" list.

To draw a parallel, the button does the same thing that the 'delete workflow' command does in the workflow console.
