Hi, i am new to activiti. i copied 2 war files in webapp folder of tomcat.then using cmd i started tomcat. now when i hit localhost:8080/activiti-explorer/ ;activiti login screen appears.so its working fine.but when i hit localhost:8080/activiti-rest.it gives me error,resources not available.error

do you have any errors in tomcat console or log files ?

no, there is no error in tomcat. can u please tell me what is exact relation between activiti-explorer and activiti-rest. i am new to activiti. how i can start the processes of activiti explorer using rest webservice. what is actual flow and how it works??

Hi,
Any process you create using the Activiti Exporer will end up being written in the Activiti database.
The REST services will offer you the possibility to interact with the Activiti backend without activiti explorer application (which is just a client application)

So, all the processes you create using Activiti explorer will be visible to the REST services.

How to use the REST services? just download the sources (as you know it's open source) and you'll see a lot of tests covering so many scenarios. (downloading sources and investigating the code will help you a lot)

Hi there,

not sure of the original question has been answered. If yes, please could you tell how to login to rest web console. I always get 404 when try to login with kermit/kermit or any other default users.
