Not really much point in posting the config. The wildcard DNS that I was using was pointing to the wrong server. Altered the config on the nameserver rather than anything in Alfresco to resolve the issue.

I'm having a curious problem with the latest community release of Alfresco (3.0 labs). The system works fine, and the virtualisation server seems to start ok, but when I try to preview a site I get the following message. Virtual website not foundBad host name: admin.demo.www–sandbox.alfresco.myd

Sorry, my fault. Had set the virtualisation server wildcard name to point to our production server instead of the development server. The reason it couldn't find anything was because there was nothing there to find.

Doh!!!
