Hi, I got an exception " The store 'avm://sitestore' has a duplicate root node entry" at org.alfresco.repo.admin.ConfigurationChecker.xxx class while running the tomcat. Please help. Any suggestion is appreciated.Thanx,Krishna.

Hi krishna,
you must take Luke at http://www.getopt.org/luke/ and oper your lucene index withi this software. Delete you double root entry.

Can u tell me the location or the name of the file where it will be specified that there is duplicate root entry here.
I cant find it.

You must open file in {$ALF-DATA}\lucene-indexes\workspace\SpacesStore and open file *.cfs .
Then, you can identify ISROOT attribute and if there are two files with this value set to true, delete one (I suppose).

Hi,
I dint get the software to open the file.
So i tried to search ISROOT using textpad.
But i couldnt get two enrties for ISROOT in the files.
Can u suggest how to go about or a .exe link to install the software to open these .cfs files.

this is a more common issue, but nothing that Alfresco considers as a bug.

While trying different backups we made over weeks, it turned out, that some did show this problem and others did not. Because we didn't change our installation and it still made a difference, you probably want to give it another try at a later point in time.
Another possibility is to export and re-import your data in 2.9b. This will clean out potential duplicate entries and other hindrances. Here's the manual

Make sure to try this only with backup copies, since the process is error-prone.

Hi,

I downloaded the Lukeall jar and run that using command mentioned. I am getting the that UI and given the path "alf_data\lucene-indexes\workspace\SpacesStore" to open the Lucene indexes, but dont know how to use it further.
Can you suggest me any tutorial or any steps to use this tool.
