Want to install Activiti Designer Offline in Eclipse

Hi all,I want to install Activiti Designer plugin offline in Eclipse, Due to some internal proxy issues, I am unable to install it using 'Install New Software' option in eclipse.. How can I manually download and install it offline. Someone, pls provide a detailed idea as I am new to this.Thanks in a

You can download the zip files here: http://activiti.org/designer/archived/

And then use that zip for a local installation.

Thank you barrez for your timely response.. I have downloaded and tried to use it, But now it gave error
"Cannot perform operation. Computing alternate solutions, may take a while 3/15"
and later
"Cannot complete the software install because one or more required items could not be found.

Which Eclipse version are you using? It should work fine on Indigo and Kepler.

I am using Eclipse - Kepler.. When I locally locate the zip file and start installation, will it download something or access something from net?

No, it won't download anything. Did you try another Eclipse version to see if it's due to that?

Hi all,

I've had the same problem and I can confirm that Eclipse was trying to download things such as EMF validation (1.8.0_blahblah). So I unzipped a ZIP version of Eclipse Mars (eclipse-jee-mars-R-win32-x86_64.zip) on a computer accessing Internet. Then I installed the Activiti plugin using the update the update site. I closed Eclipse, re-zipped the complete installation folder and unzipped it onto the computer without internet access. And now it works like a charm.
