Hi

I think this is an issue with the container finding the wrong version of hibernate.

We ship with the required hibernate jar, so my guess is that an older container specific hibernate jar is being found first. I am not sure how you get round this.

I tried using the deployment tool from Liferay to deploy Alfresco into Liferay and it came back with an error, "portlet.xml" not found?

Did you manage to deploy it without creating any additional XML files?

or did you have to extract the Alfresco war file contents into a folder and create the xml files?

well I managed to deploy the war file into liferay, but when I start jboss / Liferay, I get the following exception

Hi Olisum,

I had the same problem with portlet.xml and I find:

1.- alfresco.war downloaded from alfresco web hasn't this file

2.- but if you get source (alfresco-src-….zip) and compile with ant for jboss (or Liferay), this build a portlet.xml file and some others in Alfresco.war.
