Hi,
What version are you running? Can you check that your tables are all InnoDB tables.

we are using Alfresco 2.1,
DB : MYSQL
running on windows 2003 enterprise editon
the engine type for tables is MYISAM

I think you cannot run Alfresco on MYSQL-MYISAM tables, since MYISAM doesn't support DB transactions.

currently we running with MYISAM
how to change it to INNODB.
Currently w eneed to change it on the production server,does it effect any data if we change it to INNODB.
We currently u[plaoded 30 GB of data in production environment

Hi,

30GB of data and no support contract? Clearly it's not a valuable 30GB, then.

Run

show table status;‍

against your alfresco database. The Engine column MUST be "InnoDB" for all tables. If not, then virtually every rollback (and they can occur for many, many reasons) will be leaving corrupt data lying around.

Then, plan to:

If data issues exist, it'll take a bit more effort to fix the corruption(s). Usually, the upgrade scripts identify these nicely.
