How to deny to delete deleted items?

Hola!!!!!I would like to know how to forbid users to delete items from Alfresco's recycle bin.I want admin users to delete items forever, but other users not.Thanks!!!!

Hello,

It is not possible to configure this by user at present. You can disable/enable archiving of items per type in the contentModel.xml file - but this is global for all user. Feel free to raise an improvement request in JIRA http://www.alfresco.com/jira

It might be nice to keep the recycle bin on for a mime type but from the javasdoc (have to check the code) i dont see a way to programmatically delete an item without putting it in the recycle bin. Am I just missing it?

For example if I have an action that fires on a drop folder I may want to delete the inbound document without it queuing up in the Recycle bin while for users – i do. Robots Vs Users
