Hi Michael,

could you verify that the Designer Eclipse plugin is loaded?
By looking at Eclipse Installation Details (on a Mac: 'about Eclipse' -> 'Installation Details')
It should state;

Activiti Eclipse BPMN 2.0 Designer 5.15.0.201407081458 org.activiti.designer.feature.feature.group Activiti
