Alfresco seems also to maintain a reference&nbsp; of all shortcuts created (so if I delete the original document, the shortcuts are automatically deleted), and this is OK.</SPAN><BR /><BR /><SPAN>Initially this seemed to address my requirement, but then I discovered that shortcuts are not shown when accessing Alfresco via CIFS.</SPAN><BR /><BR /><SPAN>Why does this happen? AFAIK just have not been exposed. Although should be able to display it as a Windows shortcut or *nix symlink.
