Office plug-in doesn't work with Excel

I am currently evaluating Alfcresco for the use in our company. I’m testing the Office plug-in but I’ve a problem with Excel. Word is fine.After starting Microsoft Word, and a file (.DOC) the plugin works fine: the document is opened in Word correctly.Excel opens documents in the Internet Explorer

It's a known bug, discussed previously on these forums. Grab a new version of the client from the nightly build server, or SVN.

I have some problems with word add-in after i installed office add-in in many versions of alfresco.

I would appreciate it if you would tell me how u fix the problem.(which version of alfresco, etc)

I have the same problem

I use Alfresco community 2.9b and Office plugin 3.0 beta

I also tried to configure cifs server on my client but without appreciable changes
