Hello,
I am new to Activiti and I am using version 5.16.4. My application is integrated with Spring Security. How can I integrate Activiti identity management with Spring Security. I find a lot of references on the web, but they all refer to older versions of Activiti. Can somebody tell me the best way to do this integration in the latest version of Activiti? Thanks.
–
Regards,
Nagaraj

If you already have a spring security solution with users and groups, you could save the user with his groups in the activiti identity tables with the appropriate api calls when he logs in.

activiti doesn't verify on assignment of a task if a user or a group exists. but in the end your application should have some idea about which users and which groups exist in the system.
