topic Bookmarks in Alfresco Archive

Hi,

I apologise for the basic nature of this post. The url's that our installation of Alfresco uses/creates do not seem to be bookmarkable.. I mean, the url never changes to reflect the actual page/space you are in. Is this a configuration option (like drupals "clean urls") or does it work some other way?

I have googled around a bit but not been able to find anything relating to this so I assume I'm the only one with the issue!

Thanks,

Alan

BTW, I really hate to make it look like I'm trying to pressure people into responding, but I have to make a presentation on this tomorrow and I have a horrible dread feeling that this is going to come up. I notice that the roadmap for 3.0 lists bookmarkable links as a feature addition, does this mean that alfresco currently does not support bookmarkable links?

It is the nature of the webapp vs static HTML pages that use "gets".

The good news is that you can create a bookmark to a space. If you click on the properties for a space, there are a section called "links" at the top of the properties page that includes "Browse space URL". If you click on that link you will have a bookmarkable URL.
