Hi,

There are no alfresco classes in your trace - can you try removing/renaming the alfresco.war file and restarting tomcat to see if you still get the error?
If you do, then it's not Alfresco related.
If you don't then we'd have to look further at what is going on.

This is old but as I had same problem I thought I'd post a solution for future reference.

In my (old) version of Alfresco.bat the JAVA_OPTS include -Xss64k. This may be fine on 32bit OS but will generally not work on 64bit OS (causing StackOverflow on java startup).

Remove the option (or increase appropriately) and the problem should be fixed. Look for more information on JVM tuning if you have issues in PRD environments.
