Upgrading Problem

Hi, I'm new to Alfresco. I have a vague recollection that the bean "avmRemoteService" was given a different name in 2.x releases that caused a few bugs. Not much help, but might help you narrow your search.

Thanks ajmillar for the reply..but now I'm trying another method…I reinstall the alfresco put it under C:\Tomcat5.5 (the previous installation directory was C:\Program Files\Tomcat5.5) and it works now.. I suspected this has to do with the Remote Method Invocation (RMI) ..but did anyone here know any other work around so that I still can put alfresco under C:\Program Files\Tomcat5.5 ?
