Limiting the file size in alfesco2.1.0

Hi,Could anyone please tell me how can we limit the file size in alfresco content mangement?users just upload their huge files and we are facing space problems.there should be some limit so that the users wont upload the exceeded one.Regards,Nagajyothi M

AFIK it isn't possible to do this in Alfresco 2.1.0. Alfresco 3.0 does have a quota functionality.

However, you and configure this yourself through content rules. Create an inbound rule that runs a script. Your script can check the file size, delete the file and email the user saying their content has been deleted.

Can you please tell me exactly where this quota functionality in Alfresco 3.0 is ?
I also want a limit the size of the file for the upload in Alfresco 3.0

I wanted to identify how to setup Quota for

1. User
2. Max File Size
3. Space Level

Does anybody know how to setup the QUOTA.
Is this configuration setup/edit available using UI or we will need to make any XML file change?
What options do we have to control this?

Hi team,
I'm also looking for the same. I know we can set the limit size for user.
Now i want to set the size for a file like max size is 100MB.

Is it possible in labs 3.0 stable version.

In Alfresco 3.3, I could go to Alfresco Explorer > Administration Console > Manage System User > Edit Particular User > Edit the user's quota.
