Custom action to change owner

HelloFirst, excuse my bad English. I would like to create a space in which the users are collaborator (they can create and modify …), but they couldn't delete, or manage the rules or invited users. I don't want to desactivate the ROLE_OWNER global permission I thought to change the owner and I tried

Have you checked this line ?

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.alfresco.sample.OwnershipActionExecuter.executeImpl(OwnershipActionExecuter.java:81)

I don't find where is the problem
The problem appeared on the line this.ownableService.setOwner(actionedUponNodeRef, authority);

Even if I replace authority by "admin" for make a test, it send me NullpointerException

So, I'm not sure I've checked the right thing

Can you tell me how I suppose to do ?

Hi,

Have you checked what's on line 81 in OwnershipActionExecuter?

This may give you a clue as to what's going wrong.

Hi,

I didn't explain very well
That is the line 81:

this.ownableService.setOwner(actionedUponNodeRef, authority);

which return me NullPointerException.

So, I tried to directly replace my parameter "authority" by String "admin" that is the name of my system user

it sent me the same error message.

Hi,
If you're getting a NullPointer in this line and not on the setOwner method the only solution is, that your ownableService member is null.
Please check this.

I didn't initialize the ownableservice.
Now it work but I've a question

The rule doesn't work if the user hasn't the setOwner permission. That's a normal comportment but I would like to get over it.

What is the best way to do that ?
