Audit ReadContent not always working...

Hi,i configure audit to track ReadContent method to have an history of all content download for a document.Some download are not register in database.I suppose its because there is a cache for downloaded documents, is it right ?Is it an Alfresco cache or it's depend to application server ?Thanks in

What is your system configuration? Alfresco version, OS, DB version etc.

My system is :
Alfresco 2.1.1
OS : WIndows Server 2003
DB : Oracle
App server : Websphere 6.1

I did test also on
DB : MySql
App server : Tomcat

This happen also but not so often on Tomcat.

Shagul, do you know if this depend on a cache on app server ?

There is a JIRA opened due to a similar bug but the DB was PostgreSQL with tomcat-Linux configuration.

Auditing was not working on direct downloads but all other internal reads were being audited. For example if you apply an auditing template on a file,
show_audit.ftl was getting audited for getReader.

Auditing direct downloads worked fine when PostgreSQL was replaced with MySql with all other configurations remaining the same.

Cache shouldn't affect auditing and download as actual contents are not stored in memory as far as I know.
