Is it possible to have 2 data store?

Hi all,Our alfresco server is only 320GB of Harddisk and the data already reaches 200GB. If I am going to ADD another hard disk (500GB), is it possible to make alfresco having 2 alf_data in a separate hard disk but still be read as one (1)? Sorry, but I've been googling for ages but I can't find any

Anyone? I want to add another hard disk because our existing hard disk is running out of space. Please let me know where to look on how to do this if possible.

Alfresco provides some configurability of the location of various components of the alf_data directory - for example you can configure Alfresco to put the file store, the Lucene indexes, the audit store etc. on separate filesystems (see http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Content_Store_Configuration).

That said I'd suggest relocating the alf_data directory in it's entirety to the new hard drive, and only attempting a "sliced" configuration if you run out of space over there.

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes, my existing alf_data directory is located in a separate hard drive (320GB) but it's running out of space now so I was kinda thinking about adding a new hard drive (500GB) to expand alf_data. In this way, I will have two data store (or even more) and still accessible via web ui. I have read the link you have given and will try it. Thank you again for this helpful tips.
