random CIFS file-corruption on OS X,Community Network - v2.9

I'm using Alfresco Community Network - v2.9.0 (B 683) on Centos 5.2 server and I am witnessing random file corruption when uploading files from OS X. Result is that filesize is 0 bytes long, and if user does not check the files she/he has uploaded hilarity ensures. This is a major inconvenience, but

It seems that this was - atleast partly - caused by added content rules that added aspects to content and made everything versionable. I'll have to test mroe to see, if the issue is now solved - adn whether it repeates later if I set a similar rule in the future.

Any thoughts from anyone?

I have experienced the same my self. I used a rule that added versioning to all documents, and apperently versioning is not working over webdav or cifs with os x. But on windows that works good?! why???

The versioning is very important when it comes to updating documents. I can give logdump if nessesary. i am use Community Ed. 3.0.
