Hi,
IMHO the official alfresco training is based on Alfresco Enterprise. Thats means that you'll do the hands-on sessions using an enterprise trial version.
But this shouldn't matter. You should be able to use this gained knowledge using community version, too, it is nearly the same software.
Cheers, Jan

Is it possible to purchase a training package for a company that has the non-commercial version of the product ?

It is absolutely possible, and done all the time. However, we do not provide on-site training for Labs users. We may change this in the future, but for now we only provide on-site training for paid customers, for two reasons:

1. We don't have a large training staff, so we have to focus it on our highest-priority customers, which are those that help us to feed our families.
2. See #1. 🙂

As noted above, you are certainly welcome to attend our classroom-led training. Much of that training is "consumed" by Labs users, and we're very happy to help them out.
