For the code to edit the rule, are you pulling up the parameters appropriately?

The content rule for email notifications works, but then randomly stops. The rule itself is actually there, with a null property for the email users etc.
While I was reviewing the properties of the rule I closed it, then reopened it and now the email users & template are there. Is there possibly some reason it would loose the ldap connection to look up the users?

This continues to be a problem for us. The email will go to null go back and look and it is there. It seems to be a timing issue when it tries to validate the email.

Does anyone know what \and\or where it checks for a valid email? Does it check Alfresco DB or LDAP?
We are using LDAP for authentication.
