topic How to get 'show in' to work when bpmn file is open in designer in Alfresco Archive

I have a few questions related to using designer in eclipse environment

When I am looking at the bpmn file in the designer, I would like to go to that file in project explorer. For java files, I have "Show in" menu available when I right click. Its not available when I am looking at the diagram. Can it become available with some customization?

The navigation in eclipse is set up "Link with Editor" which shows the file in the navigator when the file is open in editor. However, this does not work when the bpmn diagram is open. How can I make it work?

Also, I would like to open the bpmn file in text editor or xml editor. How can I do that when I am looking at the diagram?

Thanks

> Its not available when I am looking at the diagram. Can it become available with some customization?

Im not sure. If it's not there out of the box, it's possible we must add something to make it work. But then it isn't there for the moment for sure.

> Also, I would like to open the bpmn file in text editor or xml editor. How can I do that when I am looking at the diagram?

Simply right click on the file and choose Open With > XML/TExt editor

Hi Joram,
 Thanks for the answer.

If the file is showing in the navigator (project or package explorer) I can right click on it and open in text/xml editor. However, here is my use case. I find my bpmn file use Ctrl+Shift+R. Then it opens the bpmn file using activiti diagram editor. At this point, the navigator does not show the file since "Link with editor" does not work and I cannot right click in the editor pane to change the editor for the bpmn file to xml or text editor.
If you can suggest some way to make this work, that will be great. Thanks
