The problem is that this option does not exist in Activiti Designer in Indigo, Juno or Kepler on Windows 8 on my computer.

Have somebody else had similar experience, or made this option visible after it hasn't been?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I've finally resolved the issue. When I was creating a project for my diagrams in Eclipse I was regularly choosing "General" as project type. It turns out that project type has to be "Activiti Project", and it seems like this "detail" is allowing me right now to use "Open process in new diagram" feature.
