I have created an xsd and an Output path pattern that pulls all file name values from the fields of that XSD only (never using the ${name}). Set up like this, entering a Name in the first step of the "Create Content" wizard for that XSD is nothing but confusing to my user base. For this reason I am looking to do one of two things:

First, skip the first step. When a user choses to create content of that specific XSD type, Alfresco would simply skip to step 2, allowing the user to directly enter his/her desired information, and the file name would be derived from the entered fields.

Or two, populate a field in the 2nd step (name, or title, or whatever) with the name field entered on the first step automatically. This would then teach the user to enter a name appropriate to the content type, and at least not force them to enter the same information twice.

Does anyone know how to do either of these things?
