There is no concrete plan on that yet. But there is someone just talking about that now in the community. Creating a binding between our IdentitySession and Spring security could be exactly what you need for that http://forums.activiti.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=277

Integration with spring-security is something I am very interested in as well. I would be glad to help the dev team and perhaps with some guidance may even step up to contribute a patch for this integration to the project.

there is also interest from the spring team to build this integration. i've created a wiki page to assemble all information related to the spring security integration

Hmm, I don't have specific input, I just want the stuff being usable in the JBoss AS environment as well without spring. That's all I can add at this moment 🙂
