If you want to publish files to a remote server for serving by a plain-old webserver, then you probably want the File System Receiver (FSR).
This is a separate service running on the remote machine. It uses RMI to listen for requests for synchronisation information, and then accepts the updated files, placing them in your chosen location.

Thanks Tom,
But i am looking for a step by step procedure since i have amateurish knowlege of Alfresco.On the page you mentioned i could not find any such procedure….Whenever i try to preview the website there is an error that says Web Server refused the connection as it doies not exist….
