Hi all,

I'm trying to use the email for the spaces. I noticed there's a unique email id for each spaces, and I could even add email alias to each space.

I've setup the email configuration in alfresco, so I can send email invite from alfresco, but I can't receive email.

Got couple questions regarding this :
1. Does these feature usable or is it haven't been implemented yet ?
2. I've tried to follow this wiki : http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Email_Server_Configuration, but no luck so far.
3. I tried "email listener" plugin, but I don't think it works with alfresco 2.9.0.
4. Do I need to install separate email server for alfresco ?

If anyone has luck configuring their alfresco with the email space, please post your "custom-email-server.xml and properties".

My system configuration :
Windows 2003 SBS with exchange 2003
Alfresco 2.9.0 (B683)

Thanks in advanced.

If you've got Exchange installed, it's likely listening on the default SMTP port 25 meaning the Alfresco email server can't.

You'll have to move one of them - the wiki article you linked to tells you how to move the Alfresco one.

Thanks,
Mike

You need to change the Alfresco SMTP port to something else (e.g. 2525 or whatever you prefer) and then configure your mail clients to send to Alfresco using this port (i.e. in the account set-up, usually "advanced" options).

Thanks,
Mike
