Hi all,I'm trying to use the email for the spaces. If you've got Exchange installed, it's likely listening on the default SMTP port 25 meaning the Alfresco email server can't.

You'll have to move one of them - the wiki article you linked to tells you how to move the Alfresco one.

Does that mean I'll need to change the smtp port for alfresco email server, using subdomain, and it will work ?

You need to change the Alfresco SMTP port to something else (e.g. 2525 or whatever you prefer) and then configure your mail clients to send to Alfresco using this port (i.e. in the account set-up, usually "advanced" options).
