If you are installing Enterprise, that probably means you are eligible for support. Have you filed a ticket with ACT?

Hello Everyone,

I had a similar problem as described above. When installing Alfresco Enterprise I would get an error from InstallJammer that says the "Error in action ExecuteScript: couldn't open socket: connection timed out" . This error was caused because the installed database was running on the port that was detected by the installer. Shut down the active database, mySQL, Sybase, etc., and reinstall with the database server inactive. After installing Alfresco you can restart the database server.

Note: Do not forget to set your Java_Home path.
