Ingestion Speed/Throughput

Hi all,I was wondering if anyone could share their experience with the throughput of Alfresco when ingesting files via CIFS? We are processing some 6000 files totalling 7GB (PDF and XML) and it takes approximately 16 hours. Is this the sort of performance you are experiencing.Thanks,David

Definitely seems too slow. The benchrmark that we did with 100Million documents had sustained speeds of about 140 docs / second - yours is waay below that. That was on pretty beefy machines, but yours is an order of magnitude slower.

We've got similarly slow speeds when transferring large amounts of files.

What are your CIFS settings?

@jbmarsh how much tweaking did you do of CIFS?
