General Question about __CheckInOut.exe

Hi There!I wonder what parameter you have to give __CheckInOut.exe to work properly.The normal way (if you have mounted an network drive) you just drag the file you want to check in/out onto the __CheckInOut.exe that is located in every folder.I tried to add an context-menu entry to windows-explorer

Hey! Thanks for the quick answer!

I now know how to configure the server so that there are more actions available for the user and how to write these actions.
Is it always like that? :
For every action in the windows-explorer you put into the file-server-custom.xml the user just gets one more of these __*.exe - files?
The problem that i have is that i want to add these action to the context-menu of the windows-explorer. (when someone is right clicking the file, lock or unlock is displayed…)
I did not like the drag&drop to the __*.exe -file.

Are there any other tutorials or stuff like that in the wiki?
(something like customizing the network-drive with new categories, building your own properties window etc.)

Thx alot! That was exactly what i was looking for.
Yes… Maybe it is a lot of work, but in case we are using Alfresco for our company we need something different than these drag&drop actions…
The Goal is that the people here can work like before… and i don't thinck that they're happy with these drag&drop actions.

Hello quibb,
same feelings here, so how about offering your context menu function for checkin/checkout and showdetails to the public - or me 😉 - That would be neat.

Hello everybody

does anyone have a solution for this issue?

I need to call the ShowsDetails and CheckInOut functions via the context menu of the current file in windows explorer.
Are there any Alfresco AddOns or 3rd party products?
