Sorry for the late reply, things have been pretty crazy lately. Hopefully you have long since resolved your issue. However, I would be interested in knowing which port you were attempting to configure your server for. The JBoss naming service exposes JNP (JNDI) service to 1099 and (by default) exposes RMI naming service to 1098. I would suggest trying 1098.

no problem.
I abandoned the idea of using JCR-RMI and now I'm trying to use webservice that they certainly are better supported.
If comnque can do a test and you do know.
