Moving ContentStore

Hi there,I am fast running out of space on my c drive when alfresco 2.1 is located. I have a D drive with plenty of space. How easy is it to move the contentstore to this drive. I know i have to change the dir.root but not sure how.What files do i have to change?

It should be pretty straightforward:

Take a full backup of your repository (as described at http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Backup_and_Restore)

Shut down Alfresco

Copy (or move) the entire directory pointed to by dir.root (usually "alf_data") to your 😧 drive using Windows Explorer or xcopy or whatever

Update dir.root to point to the new location on the 😧 drive

Restart Alfresco
