Version notes lost during check in from upload

Has anyone noticed the following problem while checking in versioned content?If you write comments in Version Notes then upload revised content, your comments are cleared out when the "'<filename>' was uploaded successfully." message is displayed?Does anyone know if this is or will be fixed?

BTW. This occurs in Alfresco Community 2.1.

Yes, this is a known issue, there is a JIRA issue for this which also contains a workaround: http://issues.alfresco.com/browse/AWC-826

I appreciate the pointer to the work around, though I had found that to be the case. The trick is to get the users to accept that they need to enter their version comments after they upload the file.

Whoops! Forgot to ask…since the fix has been incorporated into the Enterprise version, will (or is it) also in the new Community release?

There isn't a fix for that particular issue yet unfortunately.
